An enjoyable conclusion to a season of success and mixed emotions

The Pannal Sports end of season gala brought to an end the playing side of a highly successful season. The club gathered at Harrogate Grammar School on Saturday 17th May to play a fun tournament among Pannal Sports members and to make Player of the Season and Most Improved Player awards to squads from under 6's to under 17's.

The Adam Tennant award was made to Ross White, the first recipient of the award given in the name of a much missed and respected friend and coach.

Players, parents and coaches have enjoyed their season and if the latter two groups needed a reason to relax and celebrate at the Dinner and Dance that same evening then the clean sweep of boys 7 a side honours (4 leagues and 3 cups) and the under 17's cup win were the perfect excuse.

The club would like to thank the many players, parents, coaches and volunteers for their support and commitment this and every season and look forward to meeting up for season 2008/9
